Hidden in belonging

I spent 3 months on the boardwalk of Bondi photographing people who walked pass me.

What started out very incidentally became an obsession over time. I would spend an hour every day just trying to take photos of what i was noticing. It’s beautiful in it’s simplicity and the different roles we play started to become a major focus for me.

I was meditating for a while before taking any photos, because it quickly become apparent to me that what i would notice would change. The photos began becoming very obvious to me and there were themes that I was exploring each day which made for beautiful juxtapositions in characters.

Below is a small selection of some of the characters I was witnessing.
